In this episode, the Roswell Flight Test Crew speaks with Leo Yang of Walkera USA about the company’s latest entry into the aerial video drone market: the Voyager 3. Rather than a single aircraft, the Voyager 3 is actually a series of three different aircraft that share common design features. The first, examined closely in this segment, is a compact hexacopter with a unique limb configuration. The second is also a hexacopter, with a more conventional airframe design, and the third is a quadcopter. All feature retractable landing gear, 4K video cameras mounted in three-axis gimbals and cartridge-style, six-cell Lithium-Polymer batteries. They also include a 12-channel transmitter with a built-in First-Person View (FPV) video screen.
